How long do they last? 2 hours a week as one-off sessions or 2 hours a week for 4-6 weeks

Who are they for? Family Learning sessions and courses are for you if you are enrolled at BEC and would like to develop skills and ideas to help you participate fully in your children's education. Courses aim to help parents to understand how children are learning and how they can play a greater role in children's development.

Courses: Help Your Child at School.

Workshops: Storytelling, Book-Making, Play and Learn, Songs and Play How do we work? You can join a group led by one of our tutors or a visitor from the education department of one the many museums, libraries or galleries in our area. Sessions are fun and practical. We offer a free creche for children aged 6 months and over for Family Learning sessions between 10 and 3 pm.
