How do we work? Computer classes are for those who would like to gain IT skills and have the opportunity to gain a qualification or a job. There are various sessions throughout the week. You work at your own pace. You may be working on your own, in pairs or in a group. Courses run between September and June and you can enrol at anytime. We also provide a free creche for children age 2 and above for daytime courses between 10 and 3 pm. We offer activities beyond the formal education timetable such as educational trips. When you're ready you can take exams to gain a qualification. You will not have to pay exam fees if you're on a means-tested benefit.

What do people say about computers at BEC? ‘I started my course at BEC with very little knowledge of computers. Slowly and surely, I have progressed and gained confidence and look forward to my classes. The tutors are patient, encouraging and their vigilance and dedication enables everyone to learn at their own pace in a brilliant atmosphere!’ Anita
